Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus) this male had just quartered a small area of cover crop incredibly close. Unfortunately the wind direction was away from me so all were 'going away' photos (they like many birds of prey prefer to hunt flying into the wind) until in banked around behind me when this photo was taken.
