Bedfordshire bird news December 2025
A Long-tailed Duck was at Brogborough Lake throughout December and a Red-necked Grebe was at Grovebury Sand Pit from 28th. A Scaup was at Harrold and Odell CP 14th and one was at Brogborough Lake from 15th.
There was an influx of White-fronted Geese and Tundra Bean Geese at the end of December. Best count of the latter species was two at Broom GPs.
