Bedfordshire bird news April 2026

Two Eurasian Spoonbill flew over Marston Vale Millennium CP 6th. A Wood Sandpiper was at Broom GPs 23rd.

 

Two Little Terns were at Priory CP 26th and two Black Terns were there 28th. A Sandwich Tern was at Stewartby Lake 11th. The highest count of Arctic Terns was nineteen at Grovebury Sand Pit 28th.

 

Single Little Gulls were at Grovebury Sand Pit 11th, Harrold and Odell CP 23rd, Priory CP 26th and two were at Coronation Pit 26th.

 

There were a few Ring Ouzels at scattered sites and three Redstart were found.
