Hertfordshire bird news July 2025
A Black-crowned Night Heron was at RSPB Rye Meads 17th-27th.
The first summer female Montagu's Harrier was in the area of Long Marston & Cheddington occasionally strayed into Hertfordshire until 2nd.
A Eurasian Spoonbill was at Wilstone Reservoir 4th and a Wood Sandpiper was there 24th. A Wood Sandpiper was at Cooper's Green GPs 8th & 21st.
A Black Redstart was at Benington 27th and South Mimms 31st.
