Hertfordshire bird news June 2026
A ring-tail Pallid or Montagu's Harrier was at Wallington 13th.
A Garganey was at Wilstone Reservoir 8th and a drake Ferruginous Duck was at Maple Lodge NR 4th. Two Black Terns were at Amwell NR 14th and a Ruddy Shelduck was there 22nd.
The drake Lesser Scaup remained at College Lake throughout June but didn’t venture into Hertfordshire.
