Hertfordshire bird news September 2025
Two Red-throated Divers were at Wilstone Reservoir from 26th. Also there were a Red Knot 2nd, two European Shags 4th, two Black Terns 7th and two Spotted Redshank 26th. A Black Tern was at Marsworth Reservoir 16th & 21st and a Spotted Redshank was there 28th-29th.
A European Honey Buzzard flew south-west over Baldock 19th and a Black Redstart was at Baldock at the Warren Lane Airfield 1st-5th. A Yellow-browed Warbler was trapped at Benington 29th.
A Little Stint was at Stanborough GP 7th- 8th and up to two Dartford Warblers were on the north side of the lake at Stanborough GPs 14th-20th.
